attempting a link

My friend, Rachel, posted a link to a giveaway on her blog. I checked it out and decided to try to link to that website so that you could all enjoy it as well. Here's the address:

http://gahangirls.blogspot.com

And if anyone can explain to me how to link through a word/phrase without having to show the full address, I would appreciate it.

thanks.

On the page where you compose a new post, there is an icon on a the toolbar where the add a picture link, fonts, spell check, etc. are located. The link icon is green and reminds me of a binocular monster. Ha!

You type what you what to link to, say in this case "Rachel's giveaway", then highlight her name/phrase, then click on the green link icon. A little box will come up for the link info. You will choose what type (usually http:// if you are linking to another website) and the URL (or the website name - in Rachel's case http://gahangirls.blogspot.com) and click okay. This will make her name underlined and a new color to indicate there is a link.

I always double check my links before I post to make sure I typed them in correctly. You can also copy and paste a link to save from retyping it and save from mistakes.

Hope this helps and makes sense!
